Helle Kvernstein Knife
Made in Norway by Helle, the Kvernstein I think imitates the old style seafarers knife. But the name Kvernstein means "mill stone" in Norwegian. The reason that the knife was named Kvernstein, is quite simple. The pommel of the knife is a stone from a quarry near the Helle factory that has provided mill stones for over a thousand years. The blade has a beautiful mirror polish, leather sheath is really nice, most leather sheath's aren't that great, and you wonder if they were even made for the knife. This one you can tell was made just for this knife it fits great and it looks great. impressed on the top front of the sheath is an image of a quern, a small hand powered grain mill.

Custom File Knife
this knife was purchased at a knife and gun show in Portland Oregon. The blade is made from a file and is nicely done, it's got a great finish, not at all rough like you would expect from a file, but it has a fine polished surface. It features a full tang, and the handle is grooved for your finger. The handle material is Osage Orange, with good looking grain to it. It's extremely sharp with a very fine edge, and the is beautiful. But you must keep in mind how extremely hard the metal is on a file, it will break rather than bend, for slicing it's hard to do better than this knife, but no prying or scraping.

Bob Lay Burl Custom Skinner
"I was born in 1952 in Abbotsford B.C. Canada. In 1973 I started working for the British Columbia government as a wildlife control officer, hunting problem wildlife. Later I worked as a conservation officer. All my life I have hunted, fished, trapped and gunsmithed as a hobby, and knives have always been an important part of my life, from my bicycle trap line as a kid, to skinning problem wildlife when I worked as a wildlife control officer, to dressing the moose or deer I hunted for the freezer. I made my first knife in 1976, and in 1996 my wife Judy and I decided to go into the knife business full time. I make mostly upscale working hunting knives with a bowie or miniature now and again. Each knife is a unique combination of materials. Although I have used many different steels, I have found 440-C to be the most versatile. Heat treated to 57 Rockwell for optimum edge retention and ease of sharpening, this steel has proven itself in both working and collector knives. Other steels will be used for special order, and I enjoy using Damascus for collector pieces. I feel very strongly about the quality of my knives. All customers are guaranteed satisfaction. Knives can be returned for sharpening or cleaning at shipping cost only."

Cold Steel SRK
SRK stands for Survival Rescue Knife, and that's exactly what Cold Steel has made when they designed the SRK. Survival knives must to have the ability to withstand extreme hardship 
and abuse. With this in mind Cold Steel made the SRK. The Cold Steel SRK is heralded by all as one of the worlds toughest knives. The blade on the SRK has a coating of Teflon giving the AUS8A steel a protection from the elements. The tip of a knife is usually the most vulnerable part, not so with the SRK, it has an extremely tough point and the Cold Steel product testing team has taken the SRK and pounded it through a petrol barrel, and no damage was taken to the point, there is a lot of cutting power behind this knife. The Cold Steel SRK has a blade thickness of 3/16ths of an inch thick. The handle on the SRK has a single finger handle guard with a checkered Kraton slip proof grip. The only flaw I can think of is weight, it's a pretty heavy knife, but that's a small concession for what it is.- SRK specifications:

Custom Knives
I've been given the opportunity to sell some custom knives for a friend that I met at the Custer Gun Club, gun show. He's a knife vender that has been going to gun and knife shows all over the US for over 20 years. Some of these custom knives are simply incredible.
This is a beautiful knife made by Bob Lay. Bob is a well known custom knife maker from Canada, he makes about 260 knives a year and likes to use 440c steel The handle on this knife is stabilized maple burl with a sheep horn spacer.
This knife was made out of a file, you might think that is a bit unique, but not really, a lot of people use files to learn how to grind a knife properly, and don't think badly of this knife for it's humble beginnings, files are made out of super hard metal. So this knife is a real cutter. The handle is made out of Osage Orange Wood.
I really like this one! It's a sweet looking knife. the best part about this knife is the blade design. It's made out of Stainless, but the Damascus doesn't come all the way down to the cutting edge. This creates a knife with incredible styling without the worries of ruining your Damascus blade cutting something.
This Knife is definitely the most well put together than the rest of the knives I got from him. The metal pieces on the sides with the engraving look like they are part of the tang, that is how detailed Russ Kommer gets with his knives.

SOG Fusion Throwing Knives
 The SOG Fusion Throwing Knives are not like most throwing knives, they actually have a good cutting edge to them, buying the SOG Fusion throwing knives is like buying 3 knives for the price of one. The only difference between a SOG Fusion throwing knife and a normal fixed blade knife is, it's perfectly balanced! Columbia River ABC
Built tough, built to last. The Columbia River A.B.C. (all bases covered) is a very durable knife. The quality one piece all steel construction can really take a beating without breaking.There is a ZYTEL surface on the handle of the knife itself, this provides good grip in slippery situations. The one piece construction of this knife makes it undeniably strong.
The CRKT A.B.C. comes witht a plain edge tanto blade and a plain edge Blunted Divers/Rescue knife. Both Models of the Columbia River A.B.C. has very sharp serrated edges on the back of the blade, these serrated edges are designed to, and will cut through almost anything. However it is not classified as a double edged knife because the serrated edge, on the back of the knife does not extend down to the point, but is blunt 4 centimeters from the point.

The A.B.C. comes in two styles, the Operator, with a tanto point. And the Aqua with a divers/rescue blunted point.

SOG Knives
I'd just like to start off with a little history behind SOG Knives before I get into individual knives they manufacture. "SOG" is an abbreviation for Studies and Observation Group, an elite joint services military group designed for covert operations in the Vietnam War. They were given permission to design and buy tools and equipment they would need to use. During this time
