After this season's duck hunting adventures were over, it left my Remington 870 (already 8 years old) in sad condition, take a look at those pictures! So I dismantled it and restored it. I got a tip a long time ago at a gun show that I always wanted to test out. A fellow told me he used BBQ or stove paint to touch up his AR-15 rifles. So I sanded my shotgun to prime it, hit it with some powder blast to dry the oils out of it, and painted it with stove paint. The results are very satisfying.
